Rainbow Fostering Earns 2026 Great Place to Work® Certification for all company locations
We are thrilled to announce that Rainbow Fostering Services has been certified as a Great Place to Work®. The prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Rainbow Fostering.
Great Place To Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviours proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention and increased innovation.
This certification reflects what Rainbow’s team members say about trust, pride, fairness, and purpose within the organisation, placing people’s voices at the heart of the recognition.
While this achievement is a significant milestone, it builds on a long-standing commitment to excellence and is not new territory for Rainbow. As an organisation rated Outstanding by Ofsted in all areas three times consecutively, we have long been recognised for our high standards, compassionate practice, and child-centred approach. The Great Place to Work® certification further affirms what carers, staff, and partners already know: Rainbow is a place where people who want to do meaningful work are supported to thrive.
Our Great Place to Work® survey results reflect the culture we have intentionally built over many years.
We achieved an impressive 86% participation rate, and an overall score of 79%, well above the 65% certification threshold.
Notably, 100% of respondents agreed with a number of key statements, including that:
Management is competent at running the organisation
Leadership embodies the organisation’s values
People are treated fairly, regardless of gender
They are proud to tell others they work at Rainbow
Their work has special meaning and purpose
These results reflect a values-led culture grounded in trust, fairness, and a shared commitment to improving the lives of children and young people.
The survey also highlighted particularly strong levels of pride and purpose (93%), reinforcing Rainbow’s belief that when people feel supported, trusted, and aligned with a clear mission, they are able to do their best work.
Speaking on the achievement, Founder & Director, Aijaz Ahmad, said:
“This recognition belongs to our staff and carers. Their honesty, professionalism, and dedication are what make Rainbow the organisation it is. Being certified as a Great Place to Work® is a reflection of the culture we have intentionally built — one rooted in fairness, trust, and meaningful impact.”
Rainbow Fostering remains committed to listening to its workforce, continuously improving, and ensuring that both staff and carers feel valued, supported, and proud of the vital role they play in making a difference in the lives of children & young people.
According to Great Place To Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits and have a fair chance at promotion.
