Children enter care for various reasons, including physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, severe neglect, abandonment, parental substance misuse, or the loss of a parent. Regardless of the circumstances, every child in care needs support and a loving home to help them heal and thrive.
Yes. We will work with you to understand your preferred placement type, as well as ages. The ideal foster parent is one that can take all ages (0-18), and is open to all races, religions and backgrounds.
We have a dedicated expert Placement Team that work to find the best placement for you.
Once you are an approved foster parent, you will be placed on our vacancy list. They will be in touch with you when they find potential suitable placements and discuss whether you are able to accept. The ultimate decision is yours.

Children with Trauma

Children with trauma may have been neglected or abused. We provide specialised training to our foster parents on trauma-informed care, equipping them with the tools to respond sensitively to the unique needs of each child. Through therapeutic interventions, personalised support plans, and a network of dedicated professionals, we strive to help children heal and thrive.
Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC)

Children arriving in the UK from places like Afghanistan, Syria, Sudan and Somalia have fled war and conflict, often experiencing the loss of family or separation from loved ones. Our foster parents receive specialised training in cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed care to support these unaccompanied minors seeking asylum. We ensure they receive top-quality care, including legal advice, education, and mental health support.
Refugee Children

According to UNHCR, over half of the world’s refugee population are children. They may have experienced or witnessed violent acts and are in exile, are at risk of abuse, neglect, violence, exploitation, trafficking or military recruitment. We train and support individuals and couples from all ethnicities and cultural backgrounds to assist and protect displaced children.
Children with Complex Needs

Children with complex needs, such as educational challenges, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), GDD (Global Developmental Delay), Autism Spectrum Disorder, asthma, and other medical requirements, benefit from tailored and positive support systems. Our approach focuses on understanding and embracing each child's unique strengths and needs, ensuring they receive personalised care that promotes their well-being and development.
Children with Disabilities

Children with disabilities (visible or not) are valued and cherished members of our community. We celebrate the unique abilities and talents of every child, regardless of their disability. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where children with disabilities can thrive and reach their full potential. Our foster parents receive specialised training and resources to meet the specific needs of each child, ensuring they have access to the necessary accommodations and services.

Youth Participation Service

Our dedicated YP team work with foster parents helping them to support the ambitions of the children and young people they care for. We help monitor their educational progress, as well as their social and personal development.

We plan a variety of trips and activities throughout the year, motivating every child with us to make friends, learn and have fun!
