At Rainbow Fostering Services, we believe that relationships are at the heart of fostering. That’s why we’re proud to support Foster Care Fortnight 2025, taking place from 12–25 May, under this year’s powerful theme: “The Power of Relationships.”

From a child’s first warm welcome to the bonds that grow over time — fostering is built on trust, patience, and human connection. These relationships change lives — not just for children in care, but for carers, families, and communities.

💛 What Is Foster Care Fortnight?

Led by The Fostering Network, Foster Care Fortnight is the UK’s largest awareness campaign for fostering. It celebrates the dedication of foster carers while highlighting the urgent need for more individuals and families to step forward and provide loving homes.

This year’s theme, The Power of Relationships, reminds us all that meaningful, stable connections are what help children heal, grow, and thrive.

🌟 Why Relationships Matter in Foster Care

Children who come into care have often experienced instability, loss, or trauma. The consistent and compassionate presence of a foster carer can make all the difference.
