At Rainbow Fostering, our Children’s Awards Ceremony is one of the brightest moments of our year. It’s a day where we celebrate strength, individuality, laughter, talent — and the incredible journeys our children and young people are on. This year, we went to Oxygen Trampoline Park at the 02 where our young people jumped and enjoyed the day!
Why We Celebrate
Because our children are artists, athletes, deep-thinkers, comedians, book-lovers, future doctors, dancers, social workers, engineers, gamers, and dreamers.
Because they inspire us every single day — not by being perfect, but by being themselves.
This ceremony is about recognising:

In the audience sit foster carers, staff, families and friends — the people who cheer the loudest, know the stories behind the smiles and encourage every step forward. The room is filled with clapping, laughter, the flash of cameras and moments of quiet pride that say more than words ever could.
These ceremonies remind us of something powerful — that when children are surrounded by care, belief and encouragement, they flourish.

Toward the end of the evening, certificates might be tucked into little bags and trophies carefully carried home — but the feeling stays. A feeling of being recognised. Of belonging. Of knowing:
