Rainbow Fostering Named as One of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™ 2026
Rainbow Fostering Awarded Best Workplace for Women 2026
Rainbow Fostering Services Ltd. is proud to announce that we have been recognised among the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™ 2026 by Great Place To Work®.
The UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™ List recognises organisations that are creating workplaces where women can thrive by ensuring fair representation across the organisation, removing barriers to career progression, and fostering inclusive cultures where every employee—regardless of gender—has the opportunity to succeed.
Being recognised on this prestigious list is a testament to our commitment to creating a workplace where people feel valued, respected, supported, and empowered to make a meaningful difference. At Rainbow Fostering, we know that when our people flourish, so do the children, young people, and foster families we support.
Over the past year, we have continued to strengthen our people-first culture by investing in employee wellbeing, professional development, flexible working practices, and opportunities for career progression. We are particularly proud of our commitment to developing our people through structured learning opportunities, employee wellbeing initiatives, and creating an inclusive environment where every team member’s contribution is recognised and celebrated.
To compile the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™ List, Great Place To Work® analysed anonymous feedback from women working within participating organisations, evaluating their everyday experiences of trust, innovation, leadership, fairness, and company values. These insights were then benchmarked against the workplace culture employees actually experience. Only organisations achieving the highest scores receive Best Workplaces™ recognition.
Our employee feedback highlighted particular strengths in feeling welcomed, fairness, teamwork, management support, pride in the organisation, and making a difference, demonstrating the culture we have worked hard to build together.
One employee shared:
“The leadership team genuinely cares about its employees. They listen, communicate openly, and make decisions that put people first. That creates a culture where you feel motivated to give your best every day.”
Another employee shared:
“Rainbow is a place where people are genuinely valued for who they are and what they contribute. I’ve always felt supported to develop professionally, encouraged to share my ideas, and trusted to make a difference. It’s rewarding to work for an organisation where inclusion isn’t just talked about but it’s part of our everyday culture.”
Aijaz Ahmad, Founder & Director at Rainbow Fostering Services Ltd., said:
“Being recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™ is another proud milestone for Rainbow Fostering. This award reflects the culture we’ve built together, one founded on respect, inclusion, collaboration, and a shared commitment to improving the lives of children and young people. We are incredibly proud of our team, whose passion and dedication make Rainbow such a rewarding place to work. We remain committed to ensuring every colleague feels supported, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential regardless of their gender or background.”
Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work UK, said:
“This year’s UK’s Best Workplaces for Women list celebrates businesses making a genuine difference day to day, not just in what they say, but in how people experience work. What matters most is that this recognition comes directly from women working in these organisations, who tell us they feel supported, valued, and able to grow.
Our research demonstrates that these organisations creating high-trust environments are delivering stronger results, whether in financial outcomes, impact, or service delivery, alongside greater agility and resilience in the face of change.
Congratulations to Rainbow Fostering Services Ltd. for creating an environment where inclusion is clearly felt in practice.”
This marks our second Great Place To Work® recognition in the past 12 months, following our inclusion in the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2026.
We are incredibly proud of this achievement and remain committed to continually listening to our employees, learning from their feedback, and building an even stronger workplace for everyone.
