Jenny – 20 Years at Rainbow, One Incredible Journey 🌈
20 years ago, Jenny joined Rainbow Fostering in her very first job as an ASYE Supervising Social Worker.
From day one, she stepped into a role that would go on to shape not only her career, but the lives of so many carers and children she supported along the way.
Over two decades, Jenny has been a constant, supporting carers through every stage of their journey, standing alongside them in the challenges, and celebrating the successes. She has been there for children when they needed stability, reassurance, and someone who truly cared. That kind of work requires patience, compassion, and resilience — and Jenny has given all of that, consistently, for 20 years.
Her impact isn’t something you can capture in numbers or reports. It lives in the confidence of the carers she supported, in the outcomes for the children she advocated for, and in the relationships she built across Rainbow.
Jenny has been more than a Supervising Social Worker, she has been a trusted presence, a source of support, and a valued part of the Rainbow family. To start your very first job here and retire 20 years later is something truly special. It speaks to loyalty, yes — but also to a deep belief in the work and the people around you.
And in Jenny’s own words, which couldn’t be more fitting:
“Only one Rainbow.”
